Christmas in Vegas

This is Christmas morning in Vegas. Annabelle got to wake up to her Rose Petal Cottage that we knew she would LOVE! It has a changing table, a crib, a washer and an oven and stove. She loves to play with it with her babies.

Here is daddy helping her get the rest of her presents. Thanks for making this Christmas so wonderful for her. This year she actually liked getting presents more than the wrapping paper and boxes like last year.

Her babies crib has a moblie and we are going over the animals on the little mobile.

This is Liz my dad's girlfriend whom we all love and agree she is a great addition to our family. Annabelle still asks to see Liz.

And we thought the Cottage would be the hit...but really she plays with her blocks a lot more. Thanks Uncle Jeremy.

We had a great Christmas playing games all day long with my brother and eating of course. While we were in Vegas we went to the strip and had fun looking at all the neat things they build there. We got to go a Vegas Buffet at Sunset Station and we visited Sonic quite frequently because my dad lives two minutes away from one. We also went and saw my Grandma who has just recently had to go to a nursing home. (We forgot our camera of course for those pictures)

Family Picture 2009

Brent's Family got together and we did a coordinated family picture for Christmas and because everyone is moving away. First the Bains are going Ohio and then we will see about the rest.

Court Halloween Party

Our apt complex court had a Halloween Party and here is Annabelle's improvised Halloween costume. I didn't want her real Halloween Costume to get dirty because this one was outside and her costume was white so we threw this one together. Too cute

Surprise!!!

We found out we were pregnant Oct 5th, 2009. It was a surprise to us all.

We were so excited we made up an excuse to visit dad at work and surprise him as well.

Annabelle's Big sister shirt could only be found in a size 4T. Really this is Utah...it should range from 6month and up not 4T and up. But she still looked cute in her Big Sister shirt.

She is taking this big sister stuff seriously. Don't mess with Big Sista!

Dad comes to Utah

My dad and girlfriend Liz came to town to visit us in September. We had never met Liz before and was pleasantly surprised that she was normal and very nice. My dad tried to convince her to act like she didn't speak English...funny, funny Grandpa. Annabelle was a doll of course and had lots of fun.


Annabelle didn't take long getting Grandpa to play with her. That beard didn't scare her away :)She loves new playmates (especially if she doesn't have to share her toys)

We went to Cabela's and then to Thanksgiving Point on their little trip to Utah. Annabelle loved to look at the animals and feed them. Brave little girl.

We went out to dinner every night and fed Annabelle lots and lots of fries. Her favorite meal. We even got my dad to eat at The Cheesecake Factory. We had a fun night swimming at their Hotel's pool and are very happy they came to visit us.

A day at the playground

We always have a great time at the playground. This one is a short walk away and just her size. We love it and so does she.

She really wanted her toenails painted. This is harder than you might imagine.

She can wear her hair curly or straight. Keeping bows in her hair is almost impossible now.

Annabelle just found lotion and loves it. But this was too funny. She rubbed mashed potatos all over her arms just like lotion. We laughed so hard. She really was rubbing it like it was lotion.

We had Duncan over for dinner and play time and he fed Annabelle goldfish. It was so much fun to watch.

Annabelle is really tiny. She is 29 1/8th inches and weighs 17 lbs 5 oz and she is almost 18 months. We are really worried about her weight and have a Dr's appointment on Wednesday to see if it is malabsorbtion. She is as bright as anything right now and really not grumpy. So she may just be small. Who knows? She has completely fallen off the charts for weight and is in the 1st percentile for height. She is speaking more and more and has even graced us with some sentences. We are starting to teach her to read and she LOVES it.

HAPPY DAY

Annabelle can't get enough of her rocker recliner that is right next to ours. She loves reading books to herself in that chair.

GNO and CHEETOS

Girls Night Out at Cheese Cake Factory. We had a good time! We need more of these!

Annabelle LOVES her Cheetos. As you can see all over her face, don't worry health nuts they are Baked Cheetos. We get them at least once a week from Free Lunch at the Park by Salt Lake School District. We are very grateful for this program...Annabelle gets to try different food she wouldn't normally eat.

Family Vacation

This year Brent's family got together up at Wolfcreek near Pineview Reservior and we went boating (thanks Bain's) and stayed in a condo and played and played. Annabelle enjoyed spending time with her extended family. She loves her cousins and was so hyper and playful the whole time. (even while everyone was trying to go to sleep)

You can see Annabelle standing up on top of me. She is such a daredevil.

Brent and brother and brother in law...before Bompa started to get crazy and fling them off the tube. It was way too cold to go water skiing. Though two did.. we mostly did the three man tube.

Our cute friend Emily B. made this dress and it didn't fit her daughter so she gave it to Annabelle! Thanks it's the cutest!

YEP she fits in a pan. We found her this way and couldn't stop laughing.

She thinks its sooo funny to try on my shoes...of course I don't own high heels so here is the picture we get. I LOVE those snow boots!

Here she is with her friend Maggie at Discovery Gateway! We really like it there.

She is growing up so fast! She can now say quite a few words but would much rather use her sign language skills. She has a good temperment and is a joy to be around. She has new smile which she has to show all of her teeth. She has now gotten the hang of stairs and absolutely loves to go up and down them. She is just a tiny thing but has so much personality. Right now she loves to point at things with her finger and babble at them. It is the funniest thing ever. We love her laugh and we can't help but smile when she smiles...which is all the time.
