Wow what a Tuesday we had! That morning I was in Yoga with the sisters in my ward and that night I was being carried out of my house in a stretcher. I had a kidney stone but honestly I thought I was dying. After it was all over it makes me laugh to think that we called 911 and had an ambulance drive me three miles up the rode to the hospital. But honestly I was in so much pain. And you know it's bad when you get in and the first thing they do is order morphine before they even start talking to me. Everyone wonders if a kidney stone is worse than labor ...DEFINITELY YES. Because you expect pain with labor, you know what is going on and it stops and starts. I had no clue what was happening to me. I was shaking so badly on the floor of bathroom ready to pass out any minute. And I never threw up from the pain of child birth...(though I did get an epidural.) I don't wish a kidney stone on my worst enemy.

Yikes. I know someone else (who recently had a baby) who had kidney stones also. I bet that was NOT a fun ride! I hope you can forget the pain soon.
Liz...That stinks! I am sorry to hear that you were in so much pain. I hope you are doing much better these days!
So sorry! Ouch! - I did get the letter this time in the mail. :)
