Beginnings...

I can hardly believe that Annabelle took her first steps today! She is still in newborn socks and still wears 3-6 month clothes...I just got the 6-9 month clothes out and she's 9 months. How she balances on those tiny feet are beyond me. It was sooo fun to see how happy she was when she walked. I think the most she got was 3 steps before falling into mine or Brent's arms but she was laughing and clapping the whole time. She is growing up too fast! This picture is the best we could do. Enjoy because by Christmas we may have a walker on our hands (Brent thinks maybe by Thanksgiving but I'm hoping that's too soon)

maybe this will be a spark of hope for a non-walker till christmas: ronan 'walked' from 9 months-12 months but didn't actually GO anywhere more than seven steps until the weekend of his first birthday. but with all of those practice steps, he had excellent balance by the time he did start traveling by walking. but if she chooses to walk at 9 months, be ready for a not so smart walker, regardless of how brilliant she might otherwise be! lots of bumps and tumbles for young walkers!

Babies grow up so fast. It's amazing how quickly. It's so fun to read what you guys are up to.

She is such a beautiful girl! I love the new pictures of her. I can't belive she's walking. Be prepared because now nothing in your house will be sacred at all.

PS Don't worry about Brent donating Plasma, I did a big research paper on it and it helps kids that need it. :) Plus getting paid for it and getting a cookie and punch always helps things, too.
